In an interview with Chelsee Boehm, Barbara Bancroft, and Janie Hawes on July 20, 2016, Michael Meade discusses his life growing up in Ustick beginning in 1940, and his grandparents, Archie and Nora Pelton, owning the Ustick Mercantile. He describes what the area looked like, the schools, the residents, and how it has changed.
