Abstract
As part of the Depot Bench Neighborhood Association, this interview detailed multigenerational stories about growing up in the Bench Neighborhood, given on November 11, 2017. Betty Jo Evans grew up on the Bench, going to school at South Junior High and Borah High School, while working at North’s Chuck Wagon. Her daughter, Megan Brandel, remembered her early years living on the Bench before moving, as well as, visiting her grandparents. Brandel and Evans both live on the Depot Bench, and described their favorite memories, local businesses, changes to the neighborhood, and family life from the past fifty years in the area.
