Abstract
In an interview with Jennifer Stevens on August 27, 2018, David Eberle discusses his experience on the Boise City Council. He describes how he remembers Boise when he returned after college in the late 1970s and the issues with the downtown area and push for urban renewal. David also discusses his career as a professional economist running a private practice and his time as a professor at Boise State University and Albertsons College.
During his three terms in office David recalls public transportation being an ongoing issue, the successful push for branch library locations, and issues with land development in the foothills. Eberle also touches on the Boise Police Department, CCDC, and the Historic Preservation Commission.
