Abstract
In an interview with Troy Reeves on July 16, 1998, Tom Baskin discusses his involvement with the Greenbelt and Pathways Committee. He describes how his frequent use of the Greenbelt for cycling and running led to his interest in applying for an open position on the committee in 1996. Tom describes his viewpoint on the disbanding of the committee as well as their accomplishment to ensure that new developments, specifically Harris Ranch, met the requirements of the ongoing expansion of the Greenbelt. He also touches on his role on the Park Board to continue advocating for the greenbelt and open space issues.
