Abstract
In an interview with Troy Reeves on July 15, 1998, Keith Gilmore discusses his involvement with the Greenbelt and Pathways Committee and his experience as a landowner dealing with the Greenbelt development. He describes how his meeting with Mayor Amyx at a restaurant led to his applying for a seat on the committee, and the original goals of the group to control the setback and to create rules on building restrictions along the riverbank. Keith notes how much the appeal of river front property has changed since the 1950s, the acquisition of land that became Warm Springs Golf Course, and efforts to balance public access, property development, and wildlife habitats.
