This collection documents the activities of Gwendolen Smith Wilson, who worked as a Recreation Supervisor and Assistant State Supervisor for the Works Projects Administration Recreation Program from 1937-1943. Also included are applications, correspondence, and forms from other positions she held as well as her high school and college graduation material, a portrait of her second husband, a photograph of her and two of her children, two letters addressed to her mother from a nephew serving in World War II, and a small diary with work related entries from a family member.
