Abstract Sadami Tanabe was interviewed on January 13, 2014 as part of the Boise Bench history. He began his interview talking about how his family made a living farming near Portland, OR and how he volunteered to work the fields in Nyssa, ID. After his time in Nyssa, his family was forced to leave Portland and go to Minidoka Internment Camp until 1946.
