Biography
The Boise City Department of Arts & History was created in 2008. Its mission is to provide leadership, advocacy, education, services, and support for Arts and History to preserve Boise’s character and enhance our community’s quality of life. The department offers paid public art opportunities, grant funding for Boise individuals and organizations, as well as free and low-cost professional development opportunities for artists and historians.

This collection contains three Idaho Sunday Statesman newspapers dated 1910 and 1911. Newspapers include Section 2 dating to October 2, 1910; Section 1 and 2 of the paper dating to December 10, 1911. Articles include photographs and names of past Boise mayors and the social news of Idaho’s Capitol for one week.
