This collection contains postcards with black and white images depicting different parts of the completed Arrowrock Dam with handwritten captions explaining some parts and required maintenance. Also included are two postcards with images of the Shoshone Ice Caves in Shoshone, Idaho.

Physical Description

There is also a cable strung across the dam with a what appears to be a connected platform. The back of the postcard contains a short, printed blurb about the U.S. Reclamation Service’s work on the dam. There is also a handwritten note that reads “no. 1 cable way when dam was completed had 3 of them. Crane on this picture too.”
