Immediate Source of Acquisition
Transferred from the Boise State University Special Collections to the Boise City Archives. This collection originally dated from the early twentieth century to the 1950s. According to BSU correspondence the music was stored at the Band Shell at Julia Davis Park, it burned in the 1960s and the music was then transferred to the Boise State University Music Department. They took it with them from the Hemingway Center to the Morrison Center in the 1980s. The music was not actively used and so was eventually transferred to the BSU Special Collections around 2011.
