Abstract Maxine Briggs was born in 1923 in Caldwell, Idaho. She is the grand daughter of Michael Roberts and Ada Frost who owned a meat market on Main Street in Caldwell. She attended Caldwell High School, graduating in 1940, then studied at College of Idaho for two years before transferring to University of Idaho.
