Carlos Mendiolah postcards
The collection consists of 14 postcards primarily depicting downtown Boise. Noteably the postcards depict Arrow Rock Dam, High School Park, the Natatorium, the Y.M.C.A building, Boise High School, the Boise Depot, the Federal Building, Main Street, view from Owyhee Hotel, and the Idaho State Capitol building.

Margaret Tolbert postcards of Arrowrock Dam and Shoshone Ice Caves
This collection contains postcards with black and white images depicting different parts of the completed Arrowrock Dam with handwritten captions explaining some parts and required maintenance. Also included are two postcards with images of the Shoshone Ice Caves in Shoshone, Idaho.

The bulk of the collection is comprised of correspondence and cards addressed to Mary dated between 1942-1968. A significant portion of the correspondence is from 1956, when Mary’s mother Edith and sister Hazel traveled to Chicago. Correspondents include Edith McCarthy, Hazel McCarthy, William McCarthy, Mrs. Kenneth Lingley, Blanch McCarthy, and Frank "Tex" Branning.
