Abstract

Diane Sielaff-Winn completed her interview on August 28, 2015. She described her family’s history in the Vista Neighborhood and her childhood memories from the area. Sielaff-Winn also detailed what it was like during her teenage years going to South Junior High School and Borah High School. She described the many outdoor activities she and her family participated in and what kids did to occupy their summers in the 1970s and 80s. Sielaff-Winn paints a complete picture of what life was like growing up in the Vista Neighborhood on the Bench.
