Abstract

During Ben Day’s interview, which took place on November 9, 2017, he described what it was like growing up on the Boise Bench. Day described his childhood, schooling, and his father’s construction history. The main subject discussed was the construction of Vista Village, how it impacted the Bench neighborhood, and what businesses have been located there. Overall, the interview was about the changes that took place on the Depot Bench during Day’s lifetime, from his birth in 1949 to the time of the interview.
