Jackie Pritchett moved to Boise with her family in 1969. Her husband worked at Albertsons headquarters located on 16th and State. They settled on the Bench, and all five of their children attended South Junior High. She discusses her life living on the Bench and the development of Boise.

Abstract

Jerry’s father was Jack Lawson. He traveled the region repairing Burroughs office machines. Jerry’s mother Lozene raised here children on Eagleson road, south of Franklin. Jerry remembers going to KGEM radio station on Cassia, participating in events at Wright Community Church, working for the Idaho Statesman as a teenager, and going to see live music as a young adult.
