Florine Stephenson moved with her husband to Boise in 1948 when he became an assistant manager at Overland Lumber, located at Roosevelt and Overland. They purchased a home nearby on Palouse where they lived until the early 1950s before moving to a house on Pacific Street.

Abstract Harold Dougal moved to Boise with his family in 1936. After serving in World War II, he began working with the Boise Fire Department. After twenty-five years he retired as a Captain dispatch officer. In addition to his work at the Boise Fire Department he also flew airplanes, transporting power line patrols and pipeline patrols for Salt Lake Pipeline and the Idaho Power Company.
